Thank you for your interest in participating in Waiting for Thursday. Our goal is to help incarcerated individuals build meaningful connections through encouragement, friendship, and correspondence. To create your profile, please provide the following information.

Please provide the following information exactly as it should appear on the envelope:

• Full legal name

• Inmate identification number

• Facility name

• Complete mailing address

• City, State, and ZIP Code

Think of this as introducing yourself to a future friend. The suggestions below are simply ideas to help you get started. Share only what you are comfortable sharing and what you feel best reflects who you are as a person.

• Age

• Gender

• Hometown (optional)

• Interests and hobbies

• Favorite books, movies, music, or activities

• Religious or spiritual preferences (optional)

• Educational or career goals

• What you hope to gain through correspondence

• Whether you are open to receiving letters from men, women, or anyone

• A personal introduction describing who you are, what is important to you, and anything else you would like others to know

• Photographs

To submit a profile, mail your information to the address below or have a family member, friend, or volunteer submit it on your behalf.
